What to Do if the Furnace Won't Come On.

• If you smell gas, please contact the gas supplier from your neighbor's phone. Do not light any appliance, touch any electrical switch or use a phone inside your home. If you cannot reach the gas supplier, please call 911.
• If your electricity is out, your furnace will not work. Please call your utility company.
• If you have a digital thermostat and it's not displaying a temperature, try replacing the batteries in your thermostat.
• If your furnace is on, but no air is coming through the vents, call an HVAC technician for repair work.
